Lee County officers gain new force-avoidance tool: De-escalation training for BolaWrap device underway

LEE COUNTY, Va. (WCYB) — A restraint tool designed for de-escalation is giving law enforcement personnel a new force-avoidance option. Several members of the Lee County Sheriff's Office took part in a training on Wednesday, to learn how a BolaWrap device can be used, and will soon be working to teach fellow officers.
