Scot Cohen is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of WRAP Technologies (NASDAQ: WRAP). Scot Founded WRAP Technologies in 2016, after developing a passion for helping law enforcement and the communities they serve due to years of admiring his brother's work in public safety.

Scot has served in various capacities for WRAP since the Company's inception and played an integral role in leading all rounds of WRAP’s financing, totaling $90M. As the longest standing board member, Scot has led on M&A, capital markets, recruitment both inside and outside the boardroom, government affairs, and is a key driver of the Company’s push into wellness. He has over three decades of experience spanning multiple industries including institutional asset management, wealth management, and capital markets.

An entrepreneur at heart, Scot has worked with many fellow entrepreneurs and companies at all stages and sizes, both public and private, from initial idea to multi-billion-dollar public market capitalization, and has structured hundreds of tailor-made deals to help companies grow through various scenarios. Scot founded and served as Principal of the Iroquois Capital Opportunity Fund, a closed-end private equity fund which focused on investments in North American oil and gas. He also co-founded Iroquois Capital, a New York based hedge fund which managed approximately $300M of assets across its family of funds.

Prior to Iroquois Capital, Scot founded a merchant bank, which actively participated in structured investments in public companies. Scot is currently active on a number of company boards including Horizon Global and is involved with various charitable ventures, including running his own charitable foundation that focuses on delivering mental health & wellness support, coaching and education to law enforcement and government officials.

Scot lives in Miami with his wife and two children.

Jared Novick joined Wrap Technologies as COO in January 2024.

From June 2023 to December 2023, Jared served as Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President of Strategy and Special Projects at Sidus Space, Inc (NASDAQ:SIDU), where he oversaw diverse areas such as manufacturing, sales, product development, supply chain management, marketing, and human resources. Since 2018, he has also served on the Board of Advisors at BlueVoyant, where he also served as Head of Strategy from 2017 until 2018.

Before his tenure in public companies, Jared experienced success with two early-stage technology ventures, each culminating in notable exits. He co-founded and served as CEO of BitVoyant, a cybersecurity threat monitoring product and service provider for commercial enterprises, later acquired by cybersecurity unicorn BlueVoyant. Additionally, he founded and led CurvedSkies, serving as CEO of a professional services firm catering to classified U.S. Federal Government customers in the aerospace and defense sectors.

Jared's professional journey includes significant roles as a U.S. Intelligence Community Civil Servant and a contractor for Special Projects to the Office of the Secretary of Defense. He collaborated extensively with the U.S. Intelligence Community, the Department of Defense, and international partners to then deploy and operationally support critical National Security challenges across South America, Central-Asia and Africa.

In the early stages of his career, Jared trained as a NASA Aircrew Member, operating High-Altitude Technologies above 60,000 feet and necessitating NASA pressure suit operations. He has logged over 2,000 hours of flight time in various fixed-wing aircraft. During Operation Enduring Freedom, he accumulated over 400 combat flight hours while supporting special military units of the Special Operations community.

Jared actively contributes to board activities, including a gubernatorial appointment by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis to the Department of Business & Professional Regulation.

Jared holds a Bachelor of Arts in Physics from the University of Florida in Gainesville.

Jose Baptista joined Wrap in August 2024.

Jose is the Chief Commercial Officer at Wrap Technologies, where he leads Product, Marketing, and Growth. With over two decades of experience working with some of the world’s most innovative brands—including Google, Nike, Coca-Cola, Microsoft, Samsung—Jose drives Wrap’s mission to advance public safety through groundbreaking technology.

Throughout his career, Jose has pioneered digital transformation, launched cutting-edge products, and redefined customer experiences across diverse industries. His leadership spans high-growth startups and global enterprises, consistently delivering results through a thoughtful blend of innovation, strategy, and execution. Before joining Wrap, he co-founded an e-commerce platform that scaled to a $100MM+ business, earning recognition from TechCrunch and the United Nations for his impact on reducing global food waste.

Jose is passionate about creating technology that makes a difference. At Wrap, he focuses on building transformative solutions that empower law enforcement and protect communities worldwide. He holds an MBA from NYU’s Stern School of Business and is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.

Tim Ledwick joined Wrap in July 2024.

Tim brings over 30 years of expertise in financial leadership, having held CFO roles across both public and private companies. He has deep specialization in capital markets, IPO processes, and navigating complex mergers, acquisitions, and spinoffs across domestic and international markets. His wealth of experience extends to successfully managing regulatory compliance and implementing fiscal controls in dynamic business environments. Throughout his career, Tim has been instrumental in driving financial strategy for companies like Dictaphone Corp., a $250 million healthcare software and call recording technology company, as well as Cityscape Financial Corp. and GTE Corp.

Tim earned his Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting from George Washington University and his Master of Science (MS) in Finance from Fairfield University. In addition to his leadership roles, Tim is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), which further strengthens his ability to deliver rigorous financial oversight and strategic insight.

Rodney retired as a Police Commander from the Lexington, Kentucky Police Department with 22 years of service. Rodney graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Police Administration and a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice. He is also a graduate of the National Criminal Justice Command College in Richmond, Virginia where he was named to the University of Virginia Dean’s list for organizational leadership and development.

During his tenure with the Lexington Police Department, Rodney served as the lead defensive tactics, less-lethal and crowd control instructor for the department for 15 years while moving through the ranks in the Training Academy as the Assistant Commander. After his promotion to the Chief’s Staff, Rodney continued to serve as the department’s expert in use of force practices and worked with the department’s legal team on many occasions reviewing and providing his opinion on matters relating to use of force.

Rodney served as a Tactical Operator, Team Leader, and Assistant Commander in the Divisions Emergency Response Unit(SWAT) for 15 years. Rodney founded and served as the President of the Kentucky Tactical Officers Association in 2007 which brought together 50 SWAT teams around the state providing quality training and resources. He was presented with the Governor’s Excellence Award for his work with the KTOA. He continues to serve on the KTOA Board of Directors and remains an integral part in their continued development and success with over 600 members to date.

Rodney continued to build on his 22 years of solid law enforcement, management, and leadership experience serving as a Law Enforcement Consultant with the Kentucky League of Cities, providing best practice models for law enforcement agencies across Kentucky for the past 8 years.

Rodney began his time with BolaWrap in December of 2019 serving as a contract Master Instructor and Demo Presenter, training and presenting both domestically and internationally. Rodney was promoted to Senior Master Instructor September of 2020 and appointed to the Training Academy Advisor Board June 2021, where he assisted with the development of the training curriculum. Rodney was offered a full-time role with WRAP in August of 2022 and became the Senior Master Trainer, overseeing the operations of the Master Instructor Program. Rodney was promoted to Vice President of Training July of 2023.

Rodney served as an adjunct instructor for American Public University and ITT Technical Institute for seven years instructing students in various topics relating to Homeland Security and the Criminal Justice System. Rodney serves as a nationally certified expert witness in Police Operations and Use of Force.

Rodney is married with four children and resides in Simpsonville, KY.
